Mike was born in Charleston and has lived at one time or another in most of the surrounding Charleston areas. He has participated in all that the Charleston Area has to offer as a young boy living in downtown Charleston playing at White Point Gardens and The Battery. He grew up enjoying fishing, water skiing, hunting, and little league sports as well as spending lots of time in high school working on his 1969 Camaro.
After college, he went to work with a large, durable medical equipment manufacturer, sales, and service provider for ten years. He worked his way up into management and at one time managing two service centers in Memphis, TN and one in Little Rock, AR before being relocated back to Charleston to the corporate office.
He then spent ten years in the insurance industry, mainly in the health insurance business working with small companies and the self-employed.
In November of 2000, a good friend and Realtor® suggested he should become a real estate agent, so in December of 2000, he studied and tested to obtain his real estate license. After almost 20 years he has never looked back.
He feels like each client and family is like a jigsaw puzzle you are helping them put together. Putting their pieces together in regards to location, where they will work and what their hobbies and recreational needs and wants are. He has successfully helped hundreds of buyers and sellers throughout the years.
